The story of a man who is sent on a mysterious mission to Earth and caught trying to infiltrate one of the Mossad's most highly classified facilities. Before the story leaks out, one of the Mossad's toughest senior agents is appointed to discover who the man is and who sent him on this mission.
In his private life, the Mossad agent has just lost his father, who left an unclear will, and is about to get divorced – and lose the right to see his children.
During an intensive interrogation, instead of getting the information he was hoping for, the investigator is surprised to be given mystical information and Kabalistic secrets from the Book of the Zohar. Among other things, the interrogee reveals that he was sent by angels from a spiritual realm who are following his every move and constantly sending him messages. Naturally, the cynical investigator who has had to deal with a lot of nutty characters before, doesn't believe a word and tries every means he has at his disposal to get the 'truth' out of the interrogee – who is he and what is he doing here?
Since the interrogee claims that he sees creatures around him who talk to him and are trying to prevent him from completing his mission, the Mossad's district psychiatrist joins the investigation – a Holocaust survivor who still carries with him a trauma from the past. Other characters who appears throughout the film (only in the interrogee's imagination) are a strange beggar who speaks in rhyme and a black figure whose face is hidden, who wages kung-fu battles with him inside the facility.
As the story unfolds, the investigator discovers that the mysterious interrogee, completely unknown even to the international intelligence agencies, knows intimate details of his life, including his father's will. As the interrogation becomes more entangled, the interrogee reveals details from his father's past, from when he was a boy during the Holocaust. This information and the solution to the riddle of his father's will leaves the investigator flabbergasted and brings about an abrupt change in his treatment of the interrogee.
Meanwhile, the district psychiatrist has other thoughts on the subject. He persuades the unit commander to hand the case over to a new investigator. With the commander's permission the psychiatrist and the substitute investigator go to the interrogee's cell and inject him with a drug, to get him to finally talk.
Just at this critical moment the first investigator arrives, and makes the perhaps impetuous decision to smuggle the interrogee out of the facility to freedom, thereby risking his whole career and maybe even his life. Only then does the investigator discover the true meaning of the interrogee's mission and who he really is...
'Hamesima X' is a revolutionary independent film and a true innovation, a unique combination of Judaism and the wisdom of the Kabbalah, mysticism and psychology, with a dramatic story and authentic kung-fu action sequences choreographed by the Israeli and world champion in kung fu - Eli Ivgi.
The movie was filmed in FULL HD and features animation and post-production with special effects.
